Melbourne's Maritime Events and Entertainment Precinct in Williamstown is open to the public for recreational, educational, tourism and commercial activities.
Located just 15 minutes from Melbourne, Seaworks is an ideal location for any event given its mix of indoor and outdoor space for hire utilising the enviable view of the Melbourne skyline, the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria and Port Phillip Bay.
The Seaworks site has been entrusted to a community foundation, the Seaworks Foundation - a not for profit company registered in Victoria in November 2006. The Foundation has been established as a result of extensive community discussion about the future of the Port of Melbourne Authority site. Together Parks Victoria, Hobson's Bay City Council, Williamstown Maritime Association and the Victorian State Government have formed the framework for this initiative, resulting in the creation of Seaworks Foundation.
The site is vested in Parks Victoria as Committee of Management under the Crown Land (Reserves) Act 1978. Parks Victoria is also waterway (Maritime Act 1988 and Port Management (Port Services Act 1995). Parks Victoria occupies the site offices on-site. The agreement with Parks Victoria is a 21 year lease.

Maritime Museum & Historic Morgue
We have a huge collection of Maritime Memorabilia including dozens of model ships from through out history.
Berthing
Seaworks encourages the boating community to visit Williamstown via the water, and enjoy all that Seaworks maritime precinct and Williamstown has to offer.
Visiting Vessels and Tall Ships
Seaworks receives tall ships from around the globe on our berthing docks, providing rare opportunities for the public to see the inspiring ships.
Functions & Venue
Seaworks is ideal as a function venue for cocktail events, a wedding ceremony and reception. As well as Graduations, family reunions and Christmas parties.
