Siteworks Siteworks

Siteworks at Saxon Street provides the community with a range of facilities within a former college and heritage-listed house, for skills sharing, ideas generation, experimental teaching and technology-related development.

The Saxon Street precinct consists of a 19th century residential home and stable and a school building constructed in the 1960s.

WORKROOMS

Workrooms are flexible meeting and skills sharing spaces for day, week or month-long use.

Workrooms allow for a range of skills sharing and educational activities available to the community at low cost.

Workrooms are housed within classroom facilities. There are currently five workrooms available which can accommodate either large or small groups.

Need a productive space for sharing ideas? Have a skill that others may want to learn? Workrooms - a place to make, share and learn.

GROUNDS

Grounds at Saxon Street provide a range of opportunities for the informal use of the lawns and gardens for general recreation.

These outdoor areas allow for a range of small events, as well as a limited number of large-scale public events.

Grounds currently host 3000 Acres Food Garden and Blak Dot Gallery.

Grounds will host weekly film screenings, curated by Projector Bike.

Facilities include a stage, screen, canopy, grassed areas and vehicle access.

COMMON ROOM

Commonroom is a meeting place for community groups - a place for sharing ideas and organising events.

SITEOFFICE

Siteoffice is a design studio and think tank committed to progressive social projects for community benefit.

Siteoffice design studio houses a range of skilled professionals and post-graduate students committed to providing the community with progressive and experimental design solutions for public benefit.

Siteoffice allows for design professionals to combine their own private practice with work on innovative issues of public importance in a progressive and experimental manner.

Siteworks is proudly supported by Moreland City Council.

Siteworks is located at 33 Saxon Street, Brunswick, Victoria 3056.
Located off Dawson Street, parallel to Sydney Road. Via Tram #19, the site is a two minute walk from Glenlyon or Dawson Street stops.
