Soda Rock has reopened at the Jam Factory!

Originally opened as Johnny Rockets, Soda Rock occupied the historic Capitol Bakery building on the corner of Chapel St & Toorak Rd, South Yarra.

Now open at the iconic Jam Factory. Our classic menu of burgers, hot dogs and milkshakes is here to serve a new generation.

'50s diner complete with booths & jukeboxes, serving up burgers & shakes made the old-fashioned American way.

South Yarra icon serving up burgers and shakes made the old-fashioned, American way since 1994. In the 1950s and 1960s, small restaurants and hamburger stands could be found on neighbourhood street corners, at busy downtown intersections, and along the highways of most American cities.

Fresh, tasty food was served in a friendly and inviting atmosphere. U-shaped black and chrome counter, bar stools, framed prints of 1940s Coca-Cola girls, and tabletop jukeboxes that play those familiar tunes were found.

So, whenever you want to step back in time to the simpler days and enjoy those classic favourites: crisp fries, juicy hamburgers just the way they used to taste, and that extra malted milk left over in the canister, visit Soda Rock.
