Small School - BIG ART!
The Somers Arts Fair is held in the beautiful coastal village of Somers on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula.
Inspired by the diversity and creativity of the arts and crafts of the Mornington Peninsula Somers Primary School will hold its annual fundraising event-the 21st Annual Somers Arts Fair on Sunday 17 November 2024 at Coolart Homestead - Coolart Entry Rd Somers Victoria 3927.
The Somers Arts Fair is famous around the Mornington Peninsula because it embodies three of the reasons that make the Peninsula such an exceptional place; it takes a strong sense of community support an appreciation of fine art and a relaxed and entertaining social occasion and combines all of these into a wonderful day for a wonderful cause.
Main Exhibition
Celebrating 21 years in 2024, our main exhibition at the Somers Arts Fair provides a welcoming space for local and emerging artists to showcase and sell their diverse artworks.
Donations
Artists donating original works to the Somers Arts Fair contribute 100% of proceeds to Somers Primary School, with submission fees waived for these generous contributors.
Print Room
The Print Room at the Somers Arts Fair showcases and sells donated print reproductions from renowned local and emerging artists, offering art collectors a chance to discover and purchase beautiful artworks.
Children's Art
The Children's Art section invites young artists to showcase their creativity by submitting their artwork for exhibition, with exciting art prizes awarded to celebrate their talent and imagination.
Sculptures
Extraordinary pieces of art, lovingly transformed from Cypress and other materials by some of our most acclaimed local artists.
Food & Beverage
Set your tummies rumbling as you take in the beautiful aromas of freshly brewed coffee and sweet and savoury treats.
Family Activities
The Somers Arts Fair isn't just about great art - there is also plenty to keep the kids and parents happy as well!
Market Stalls
Our craft market aims to showcase a range of quality handcrafted items from across the Mornington Peninsula.
