This is a nice little park not far from the Geelong Pier and the Geelong Yacht Club.
An open lawn with beautiful trees around the perimeter, the Gardens are a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the sun and a picnic. On the northern edge is a small walkway that separates the gardens from the water, with nice seats to watch the boats on the water from.
Dont miss the massive and strange buoys at the top end of the gardens - very cool. For the creative, look out for the market held monthly.
So a nice little garden and a great place to relax in Geelong.
Weddings
The ever popular Steampacket Gardens is a large open space that is located right on the water's edge.
It is covered in beautiful green grass all year round and has spectacular views across the bay. There are also some interesting art features at either end of the space.
