Stonehouse Gallery

Stonehouse Gallery

Stonehouse Gallery was established in 1972 by eight dedicated potters wanting to promote ceramics.

Originally housed in the old Warrandyte Selby General Store, the name 'Stonehouse' was chosen to depict this old stone cottage and to represent the stoneware clays used.
In 2005 the Gallery moved to the newly renovated Gospel Chapel, a unique heritage building in the heart of Warrandyte. There are now 19 member artists including potters, textile artists, painters and jewellers.

Stonehouse Gallery supports local and regional Australian artists providing changing exhibitions for them and its members. Promoting Australian handcrafted artwork is an important part of the Stonehouse ethos. Local and overseas visitors support this aim valuing the quality of the art offered.

Pottery, textile art, jewellery, glass, woodwork and furniture, art prints and paintings are all available to purchase every day from 10am until 5pm.
