Combining live theatre with audience participation, the immersive production transforms spectators into jurors tasked with determining the outcome of a high-profile criminal trial.

The case centres on the disappearance of a $20 million necklace belonging to superstar Lana Tonneti. Her former driver has been charged with the theft, but as the trial unfolds, conflicting witness accounts and inconsistencies in the timeline raise new questions about what really happened.

As evidence is presented and testimonies are challenged, audience members must evaluate every detail before deciding whether the accused is guilty or not guilty.

Rather than simply watching the action, attendees actively participate in the proceedings, casting votes and influencing the direction of the experience as the case develops.

Designed as a courtroom drama, The Jury Experience places participants at the centre of the legal process. Every statement, piece of evidence and witness account may prove crucial as jurors work towards a final decision.

Audience members use their phones to participate in key moments throughout the performance, helping shape the outcome before delivering the final verdict.

The Jury Experience: The 20 Million Dollar Heist will be presented at St Kilda Town Hall on Saturday 18 July 2026.

The performance runs for approximately 60 minutes and is presented in English.

The experience is recommended for ages 12 and over. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

The production contains references to sensitive themes including homicide, domestic violence, emotional manipulation and child abuse. Viewer discretion is advised.
