Founded in 1910, The Lost Dogs' Home's vision is to give animals the best chance of a happy and healthy life.
The Home cares for lost dogs, cats and other companion animals. From reuniting lost pets with their families to finding new homes for others, The Lost Dogs' Home will always seek the best possible outcomes for all animals in its care.
As one of Australia's largest animal shelters, the Home cares for over 15,000 lost and abandoned dogs and cats every year, and provides a wide range of animal welfare and community programs and services.
These programs and services include:
-:- Adoption Services: The Home's adoptions attendants will help the find the right pet.
-:- 24/7 Animal Ambulance: This service responds to urgent and non-urgent animal cases throughout Melbourne and Victoria. The service ensures animals in need are safely transported to our Cranbourne and North Melbourne shelters.
-:- Behaviour Program: The Lost Dogs' Home's team develops programs for animals needing training and support, who may experience a range of behaviours, including lack of confidence and anxiety disorders.
-:- Veterinary Clinic: The Frank Samways Veterinary Clinic offers consultations, vaccinations, desexing, microchipping, grooming, surgery, weight management, dentistry, senior pet health and much more).
