The Space Dance and Arts Centre is a young and exciting dance and arts centre featuring large dance and rehearsal studios.
The Space has a huge selection of adult dance classes including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Breakin', Le Bop, Street Latin (Salsa), Latin American, Capoeira, Lyrical, Contemporary, Argentine Tango, Broadway Dance, Belly Dance and Flamenco.
The Space caters for people of various dance abilities and interest levels as well as providing rehearsal and performance space for artists and producers.
The Space Dance and Arts Centre is located on Chapel Street opposite Pran Central. conveniently close to coffee shops, restaurants, parking, Chapel off Chapel and in the heart of Melbourne's fashionable shopping district.
The Space also plays host to some of Melbourne's best improvised theatre with performers like Lliam Amor (Thank God You're Here, The Micallef Program), Jason Geary (Skit House, Thank God You're Here), Patti Stiles (Neighbours), Rik Brown (Comedy Smackdown) and Simon Dowling (Thank God You're Here).
