Blending an elegant fusion of past and present, 'The Stables of Como', affectionately nicknamed 'The Stables', is the new cafe set against the stunning Como House and Gardens in South Yarra.
Encapsulating the inspiring and aristocratic history of the 160 year old Como property, The Stables has already become a
much-needed refuge from the hectic Melbourne city lifestyle, without needing to travel outside of the city fringe.
The modern menu manages to feature timeless dishes reminiscent of childhoods and home comforts. However, it's the 6 meter long timber counter heaving with the likes of homemade wagon wheels, musk sticks, giant meringue clouds & bountiful pastries that really act as the 'heart' of the beautiful space. Picnics can be ordered on a daily basis and we love ANY excuse for a party in the incredible grounds or Grand Ballroom...

Let us take care of the stressful part of picnic-ing and let us pack it for you. Cuddle up with your other half or come along with some friends to enjoy some of our favourite picnic picks. If you feel like upping the ante; hire out a private garden, let us set up a table service with champagne, croquet..the works.
