Accessibility
The Museum is fully accessible to visitors with wheelchairs, walking frames and prams via lifts on the ground floor of the World Trade Centre, located near the Siddeley St entrance.
There are accessible toilets located opposite the Museum entrance.
The Museum has some areas with lower light levels to preserve the precious collection, however all efforts have been made to ensure lighting optimises visibility. Museum text is at standard display size. Magnifying sheets and LED torches are available for people with low vision from the front desk.
Autism friendly museum
The Victoria Police Museum aims to be an autism friendly museum. We have parent notes and social stories available for download prior to your visit. Written in consultation with Amaze, these social stories and visiting notes are for families and teachers visiting the Museum with children on the autism spectrum.
