The Victorian Artists' Society is a society for art practitioners and lovers.
We offer painting classes in oil, watercolour, pastels, mixed media and drawing. Classes are suited to levels from beginners to those wishing to extend their technique and creative expression.
Art is exhibited continually throughout the year in our different gallery spaces. Our gallery spaces are available for hire to member and non-member artists and art organisations.
Networking and community are also a valuable part of the Victorian Artists' Society experience for artists, art lovers and collectors alike!
With a rich heritage dating back to 1870 we are proud of our contribution to the development of Australian art. With our view of the future framed by quality and versatility, our reputation for the development and promotion of art in the general community will live on.
Whether you are an art beginner looking for an opportunity to learn art skills or appreciation, a more practiced artist wanting to hone or develop new skills, or someone wishing to showcase or collect artworks, we would be delighted to assist you in your endeavours.
10am to 4pm weekdays 1pm to 4pm weekends.
