Wedderburn Newsagency & General Store |
The General Store Museum is Wedderburn's original goldfields shop with products from the gold rush era, including a coach builder's workshop with the original blacksmith forge and horse drawn buggies from years gone by.
Next to the Museum is the "Gallery"that exhibits local and visiting artists work from paintings, photography, charcoal drawings, mosaics and glass ware.
A must see for everyone.
We step back in time to the Wedderburn General Store Museum. In the 1950 the doors closed and many of the items in the museum are from that time and before. It's amazing to see Australian history like this. It's truly a time capsule of the time. Make sure to visit next time your in town and tell them "Let's Get Rural"sent ya.
