Yarrambat Heratige Museum |
A development of the Yarrambat Historical Society the Museum contains an operating historic gold-mine battery; an historic woolshed, approximately 150 years old and formerly a Methodist church; and the first classroom at the Yarrambat Primary School.
The Yarrambat Heritage Museum is located at Yarrambat Park at the site of an old 1850s wood shed and includes an old school and a historic gold battery. Public access to the Yarrambat Heritage Museum is by appointment.
Come and see the operational gold-mine battery, 150 year old 'Len Young Woolshed', wool-baling equipment and the early Yarrambat Primary School classroom.
Open from Noon to 4 p.m. Free entry.
Families most welcome Display by the Yarra Valley Machinery Preservation Society
