Yering Station Winery

Originally planted in 1838, the historical wine estate was purchased by the Rathbone family in 1996, marking the beginning of a new era with the construction of a state-of-the-art winery and award-winning wine tourism destination.

Planted with our key varieties, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz, Yering Station remains true to its heritage as a family-owned and operated winery dedicated to producing wines of quality and distinction and has been awarded 'International Winemaker of the Year' at the prestigious International Wine and Spirit Competition in London.

The winery has been further recognised for its commitment to excellence with an induction into the Australian Tourism Awards 'Hall of Fame'.

Wine Bar Restaurant

The Wine Bar Restaurant is stylish and relaxed and is set within spectacular architecture opening out to expansive views of the Yarra Ranges.

A seasonal menu is designed by Yering Station's Head Chef Maxime Croiset, featuring regional produce creatively used in contemporary style dishes.

The Restaurant is open for lunch seven days a week from 12.00pm.

Yering Station Art Gallery

Yering Station's historic winery building (circa 1859) with its rustic charm, high ceilings and white painted, hand-made brick walls, operates as both a tasting room and a contemporary art gallery. Exhibitions are located in the Main Gallery on the ground floor and in the more intimate First Floor Gallery, with exhibitions rotating every four to six weeks.

The Yering Station Art Gallery is committed to exhibiting the work of both established and emerging Australian artists, while the annual Yarra Valley Arts/Yering Station Sculpture Exhibition & Awards, which runs from late October through to early December, has a long history of showcasing an outstanding cross section of contemporary Australian sculptural practice.
