ABRISA is a Brazilian multicultural not for profit organization founded in Melbourne on 9th December 2002.

ABRISA' Aims are:

To promote the integration of the Brazilian and Portuguese speaking communities' actions as an agent of its own development, working in close collaboration with government organizations.

To provide information related to the needs of the newly arrived immigrant, minimising the shock of social, cultural and economic transition.

To encourage and support the socio-cultural integration of Brazilian and Portuguese speaking people into Australian society.

To work as a liaison with Australia institutions by helping and instructing the newly arrived immigrant on how to make use of the services provided, such as English language studies and healthcare, amongst others.

To promote Brazilian cultural values, by stimulating community integration through social events.
