Altona Miniature Railway | Run Day
Our vision is to develop our railway into the premier miniature railway in Australia for the public, train enthusiasts and model engineers to enjoy.
The features included in this development are a tunnel, three trestle bridges and the only Zig Zag/Switch Back on a miniature railway in Australia.
Altona Miniature Railway is a hobby club that provides miniature train rides for the young and the young at heart.
Miniature train rides on scaled steam and diesel engines (5″ and 7 1/4″ gauge), over our 1.5 km length track.
AMR Public Open Days run from 11.00am till 4.00pm (last train)
Single ride ticket - $4 (per person)
11 ride pack - $40
All day pass - $30 (per person)
Altona Miniature Railway operates all year round, rain or shine.
Runs on the 3rd Sunday of every Month (inc Jan).
