Artful Dodgers Studios - art + music space for young people
We are an innovative and creative art & music space for young people aged 15 - 27.
Artful Dodgers run a fully equipped art studio staffed with professional practising artists. You can work with a range of paints - oil, watercolour, acrylic and spraypaint as well as collage, stencils, lino, sculpture.
We have a full range of digital arts to get involved with - animation, video (we have a green screen), graphic design and internet art. If you have an idea, we can probably help you do it! There's always the chance to exhibit in our gallery or to get involved in one of our pop-ups too. The art studio is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 11 till 4 and is totally free.
A versatile space for young musicians
Artful Dodgers Studios has a fully equipped recording studio to help young people explore their music. Catering for traditional band set ups and modern hip-hop styles the studio is a versatile space for engaging young musicians. Two days a week the music studio is available for hour-long one-on-one sessions with a musician. These sessions can include basic instrument tuition, song writing development, recording and live performance skills and coaching for beginners to more experienced participants. There are many opportunities for young people to become involved in performances.

The Art Studio is open from 11am -4pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The Music Studio is open by appointment. We are closed on Wednesdays.
