Discover the intricate web of coordinated satellites, from Starlink to the Deep Space Network, revolutionising communication and connectivity both on Earth and beyond.
Delve into possibilities of satellites and learn about the challenges of interstellar communication and how NASA's Deep Space Network bridges the gap, enabling us to exchange messages with the far reaches of space.
Uncover artificial constellations, such as GPS, that are shaping our daily lives with seamless access to location information and get up close with a full-scale prototype of Optimus, a pioneering servicing satellite created by Space Machines Company. This satellite is designed to repair, refuel, upgrade, and relocate satellites, paving the way for extended lifetimes, reduced space debris, and sustainable expansion of space endeavours.
Artificial Sky is presented in partnership with Swinburne University of Technology's Centre for Astrophysics and in collaboration with Space Machines Company.
