Bergerac at Tolarno
Bergerac was established in 1985 as one of the early restaurants offering French cuisine within Melbourne's CBD during the 80's boom of French dining.
Initially located in Kings Street Melbourne and then later at Lonsdale Street from 2017, we have now relocated to the renowned Tolarno Hotel at 42 Fitzroy Street, St Kilda.
This iconic restaurant site started as a French Bistro in 1964 and houses 2 magnificent murals and a wall sculpture by famous contemporary artist Mirka Mora, which are now Heritage Listed and preserved for the appreciation of diners and art lovers.
Since the 70's it has seen many famous chefs cooking up a storm in its kitchen, notably Pietro Grossi (Father of Guy), Iain Hewitson and Guy Grossi.
Extensive renovations have taken place during 2021 and we are delighted with the rebirth and new ambience of Bergerac at Tolarno.
Our a la carte menu with popular traditional and classical dishes that Bergerac have been renowned for over the past 37 years is available every week from Wednesday to Sunday for dinner service between 5:00pm to 10:00pm. We also have "Daily Specials" prepared by our chef to tempt your taste buds for your dining experience.
We Look forward to you joining us for that special celebration or just a casual dining treat
