Jugger

The game is essentially to put the game ball (Skull or sometimes Jugg) onto the opponent's stake as often as possible during the match. Only one player on each team can do this (the Qwik). During which, all the other players on the team, who are holding sports equipment which resemble polearms or ball and chains or shields, are charged with defending the player on their team who can score points. The Spars (the sports equipment) are padded as they are used to 'tag' opposing team members, taking them out of active play for a short time, giving the Qwik a chance to get past them and score a point. Jugger is unique in that there is no gender segregation, mixed teams are the norm.
