CatholicCare |
For over 75 years CatholicCare has worked on behalf of the Catholic Church in Melbourne and Geelong to build on the vision of 'life to the full' for families, individuals and communities in all their diversity, but in particular for those who are marginalised in society as a result of poverty, disadvantage and other barriers to social inclusion.
CatholicCare depends on the ongoing financial support of the Archdiocese of Melbourne and its parishioners. Our work is furthered in the community with additional assistance from sponsorships, government funding initiatives and community partnerships. We are grateful for this support and seek to find new ways to achieve our mission through our fundraising and resource development initiatives.
You do not have to be of the Catholic faith to use our services. We welcome the broader community, and show respect for the beliefs and values of people from a diversity of faiths, ethnic, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
Many of our programs and services are supported by the government. You should not miss out because you think you cannot afford our services. There is a schedule of fees based upon the client's income level and their ability to pay. Some of our services are free of charge.
