The annual Celebrate Mooroolbark festival is one of the only remaining FREE family festivals left in the Yarra Ranges.
Celebrate Mooroolbark is our annual autumn festival, showcasing the spirit of our local community. Join us to connect with friends - old and new - and enjoy the talents and traditions that make Mooroolbark special.
We're dedicated to creating a festival that reflects the spirit and creativity of Mooroolbark and its surrounding areas.
The festival is open to everyone and we welcome you to experience the warmth of our community-together, we celebrate the unique culture and friendly locals that makes Mooroolbark special!
Date & Time: Sunday 16 March 2025, 10am - 4pm

Enjoy a day filled with fun activities, local arts and crafts, delicious food, and live entertainment, all proudly supported by the Yarra Ranges Council.
Experience an exciting lineup of free activities, competitions, live entertainment, market stalls, a classic car show, and delicious food and drinks. A full day packed with fun for the entire family!
In 2025 the Yarra Valley Wool and Handicrafts Show will be held on Sunday 30 March 2025 at the Mooroolbark Community Centre.
Getting There
Train to Mooroolbark
Catching the Lilydale line train to Mooroolbark station is a viable option for anyone from the inner city suburbs or Lilydale.
Buses to Mooroolbark include:
the 675 from Chirnside Park Shopping Centre via Manchester Road;
the 680 from Lilydale Train Station via Lilydale East Estate & Lakeview Estate (Swansea and Hull Roads);
the Area 2 Telebus from Chirnside Park via Partridge Way Hayrick Lane Batterbee Drive and Wandana Street;
the Area 3 Telebus from Chirnside Park via Rolling Hills Primary School (Landscape Drive) Mooroolbark Road Carronvale Road Blackburn Road Billanook College Mooroolbark East Primary School Cardigan Pembroke Roads and Cambridge Roads; and
the Area 4 Telebus from Croydon Train Station via Hull and Allendale Roads then Lincoln Road Lionel Cresent Ervin Road and Kiloran Avenue.

Walk or Cycle
There are multiple bike paths going in and out of Mooroolbark why not help your health AND the environment by walking or riding into the festival not to mention you can save the stress of parking !!
