Chapel Off Chapel is the City of Stonnington's renowned Arts and Performance venue. In operation since 1995, Chapel Off Chapel has become a Melbourne institution known for presenting boutique, independent theatre/musicals.
The venue consists of a modern foyer and mezzanine adjoining Prahran's first Independent Church built in 1885, now known as The Chapel - a 240 seat Theatre and the adjacent Church Hall, known as The Loft - a 150 seat Theatre.
Chapel Off Chapel is well known to a wider audience for the 'Live at the Chapel' series that staged some high profile bands and artists such as Crowded House, Foo Fighters, Coldplay and Delta Goodrem just to name a few. The iconic venue is now home to the 'Chapel Sessions' which continues to showcase live, intimate, one nighters from established and up and coming acts.
