Created by former Australian Ballet dancer and acclaimed tap artist Garry Stocks, the work features an ensemble of Australia's leading tap dance artists and a one-of-a-kind contemporary pas de deux with former Australian Ballet Senior Artist Jade Wood, where Stocks simultaneously tap dances, partners and lifts Wood within her classical and contemporary movement vocabulary.

Blending percussive rhythm, contemporary movement and theatrical staging, Melancholia challenges traditional perceptions of tap dance and offers an experience unlike anything you've seen before.
