Established in 1987, City River Cruises offers sightseeing and function cruises through Melbourne's beautiful Parks, Gardens, Ports and Docklands aboard the Melba Star, the largest and most luxurious cruise boat on the Yarra. The vessel can travel upstream towards Hawthorn and downstream to the Port of Melbourne, Williamstown and the Maribyrnong River.
Accommodating from 20 to 150 passengers, the MV Melba Star caters for corporate luncheons and dinners, river transfers, weddings, engagements, birthday parties, Christmas functions, New Year's Eve parties, social-club activities, educational school excursions, daily sightseeing cruises, business lunches and dinners.
