Dover Street Studios |
Dover Street Studios. Creative studios for the established artisan.
Dover Street Studios is in Cremorne, a suburb in Richmond. The entire Cremorne was actually once a Theme Park [Cremorne Gardens]; a hedonistic refuge filled with freaks and geeks and creative atmosphere. It's now home to a great deal of street art by the likes of Dabs Myla, Adnate and Hancock.
All in all it makes for the perfect location for our studios!
With white walls and pine features the studios really speak to the visual senses, full of symmetry and contrast, the space is filled with light and warm energy.
Dover Street Studios is Rival Revolutions sister (or brother) studio, the older sibling who got the brand new clothes not the hand me downs. For those who haven't been to Rival, it's basically covered in graff and made out of milk creates, bits of wood and furniture found on the streets of Prahran.
Rival has its whole underground funky feel, but at some stage you need a place where you can take potential clients to and they don't get worried that you're just an alcoholic bum. And that's what Dover is all about, taking things to the next level and taking the emerging artist to the next stage of their career.
