Frankston City | 60th Anniversary Festival

Frankston City is turning 60 - and we're marking the milestone with a jam-packed weekend of events and activities.

On 24 August 1966, Frankston City was officially declared a city. Now, six decades on, we're taking a moment to reflect on the people, stories and local spirit that have helped shape our community into what it is today.

Across 21 and 23 August, the city centre will come alive with live music, exhibitions, storytelling, author talks, historical displays and more - with something for every age and interest.

From the as series of celebratory exhibitions to a screening of the iconic film 'On the Beach', the program will bring together history, creativity and community. Access the full program(PDF, 236KB).
