The Itty Bitty Book Van is a travelling children's bookshop.
The Itty Bitty Book Van is a 1950's vintage caravan, kitted out as an uber cute children's bookshop.
Our titles are hand selected to ensure the van is filled with quality children's books. We do not stock licensed books or sell books that include bonus soft toys. Just great books, many written by Australian authors. The van itself was lovingly restored and converted and now delights children everywhere.
Kids adore 'Enid' the vintage caravan which is stocked with a carefully curated inventory of childhood classics, favourites, picture books and early reader titles. We also take pride in stocking many beautifully written titles from smaller, independent publishers.
Free story time sessions are always popular and Itty Bitty Book Van staff are always on hand to offer expert advice and trusted recommendations.The Itty Bitty Bookshop is about offering children a memorable, positive bookshop experience. We invite children into the enchanting space, encourage them to browse the selections and offer the opportunity for them to independently select a book (or two!) that they'd love to take home and treasure. It is hoped that these great experiences with books will help to foster a love for books and reading.
