Lawrence Mooney is a comedian, actor, writer, television and radio personality.

Said to be the second funniest man to come out of Melbourne (Barry Humphries), Mooney held jobs as a cleaner and salesman, before becoming a stand-up comic.

He is best known for his stand-up comedy shows including Lawrence of Suburbia, Surely Not! and Moonman.

He was the winner of the Melbourne Fringe Best Comedy Award in 2011 and made the semi-finals on NBC's Last Comic Standing in 2007.

Mooney features regularly on television with appearances on Spicks and Specks, Can of Worms, The Einstein Factor Problems, The Agony of Life, Have You Been Paying Attention, Dirty Laundry Live.
