It is with a heavy heart that we announce from Jan 1 2023, Loop will cease trading on the Ground Floor- migrating some of our arts programming and community offerings to our Loop Roof rooftop spaces- but sadly saying farewell to our late night music model which has become unsustainable following the COVID pandemic.
We would like to extend our warmest thanks to all the musicians, residencies and promoters who have made such magnificent contributions to our Loop music program and the Melbourne music scene over the past two decades. We will miss you dearly.
We are handing the reins of our Ground Floor space to our Level One building resident, Improv Conspiracy who will expand their comedy theatre and training to the Ground Floor and run a casual bar to support their program. We wish Improv Conspiracy all the best with their endeavours as they continue to create an exciting comedy hub in Meyers Place.
The Loop odyssey rolls on as we now put all our energies into evolving our wonderful rooftop spaces. We look forward to a new chapter of vibrant hospitality and arts offerings within our unique envelope of lush green gardens and striking city views. View website
