Rooftop Cocktail Bar
Madame Brussels has reopened, complete with astroturf-lined floors, hedged bar and outdoor terrace, take a seat on furniture decked out with floral upholstery.
Named after a famous brothel owner in the late 1800s, this rooftop cocktail bar on Bourke Street is often described as kitschy, quirky, or playful.
You can expect all kinds of cocktails, including the Parliamentary Mace with rosemary, and summertime sippers such as the Madame's Spicy Margarita and Summer Negroni.
Nibble on a croque monsieur or ratatouille toastie, artisanal cheeses or cured meats. For something sweet, try scones with strawberry jam and chantilly cream, or choose the daily trio of macarons.
