The Maffra Show Committee strives to provide a truly Agricultural Show, also providing entertainment for the whole family throughout the day on SHOW DAY.
The Maffra Show night carnival is action packed featuring Woodchop, Kidz Zone, Dog High Jump, Shetland Derby, Maffra Mile, Wacky Wombat Fire Show, the Brian Daly Demolition Smash up Derby and finishing off with spectacular fireworks
Now in its 134th year (2024), the Maffra Agricultural Show provides an excellent day out for the whole family. You'll find rides, sideshow alleys and lots more fun for the kids (and of course those young at heart!!). Along with a Food and Wine pavillion, demonstrations, community groups and much more for you to meet and get to chat to.
Running over three days, you'll find Saturday geared towards the family. Friday and Sunday focuses on equestrian and harness events, which for pony lovers can be a great day out.
Saturday is filled with tons of fun for the whole family. This year parents will be able to enjoy an Asian themed food and entertainment court. Featuring live music all day, food trucks, roving entertainment, tiny tots, and other assorted competitions.
The Maffra Show Night Carnival kicks off on the Saturday Night from 7pm, and is filled with high adrenaline events such as stunt shows and fireworks displays. This year will feature: demolition derby, shetland derby, fireworks, MCSC Maffra Mile, kids zone activities, fire show, dog high jump, Three Chain Road Live and the woodchop.
