Mamma Mia! The Party is an immersive experience that starts as soon as you enter Nikos Taverna where you'll feel like you're in the heart of a Greek island paradise.

Soak up the holiday atmosphere and meet taverna owner Nikos and his family as their story unfolds in a glorious night of song, dance and celebration.

Your ticket includes a four-course sit-down meal, entertainment that unfolds all around you and an ABBA disco! The party starts as soon as you walk through the door - immerse yourself in the environment, mingle with your guests, have a shot of ouzo and enjoy the appetisers.

Our set menu* starts with a mouth-watering mezze selection, after which you'll feast on traditional starters followed by succulent meat dishes paired with tempting sides, and end on a deliciously sweet note with authentic Greek desserts.

On arrival you'll be greeted with a smile and a complimentary welcome cocktail, after which you are welcome to purchase drinks from our well stocked taverna bar which serves a varied selection of red, white and ros© wines and champagne.

Mamma Mia: The Party

The Mamma Mia! stage musical and movies became successes beyond my wildest dreams. They seem to make people happy, they kind of get you in a party mood - and everyone loves a party. We had an idea: maybe you could have a party in a Mamma Mia! environment? And where better than a taverna on Skopelos, the Greek island where the first movie was filmed?

And so Mamma Mia! The Party was born and is now in its 4th year in Stockholm and just opened in London at The O2! Over the course of four hours, guests will enjoy a spectacular show, a four-course gourmet Mediterranean meal and an ABBA disco all in one unforgettable immersive experience.

When you enter the wonderfully exotic Nikos Taverna we really want you to feel as if you're right in the heart of an island paradise, sitting around tables in the taverna's courtyard complete with a fountain, olive trees and bougainvillea. We want you to feast on mouth-watering Mediterranean food & drink, while all your favourite ABBA songs are performed by singers and musicians all around you.

While you're here you'll meet taverna owner Nikos and his family as their story unfolds in a glorious night of eating, drinking and celebrating. The experience will last for around four hours, but if you're singing, dancing and having fun....well, then maybe the party will continue even longer...

The Herald Sun Digital Edition: DINE, DANCE IN ABBA PUB

Melbourne is on the list for ABBA's next project - a Mamma Mia-themed theatre restaurant and disco.

After a successful launch in Sweden, Mamma Mia: The Party is now running at London's O2 Arena. The four hour show combines a four course dinner in a purposebuilt Greek taverna with a brand new live show (different to Mamma Mia! The Musical) of ABBA songs followed by an ABBA disco.

ABBA's Björn Ulvaeus told BBC Radio there were plans to tour the event but there were no dates yet.

He said technical hitches had delayed the ABBAtar project, and its two new songs, until next year.
