Melbourne University Hockey Club (MUHC) is one of the largest and oldest clubs in Victoria.
We have 7 women's teams, 9 men's teams, 3 veterans' teams and 2 junior teams in the Victorian State League competition. With so many teams there is certainly one for you. If it is a serious many-training-a-week competition or a social hit around with mates then off to the pub you are looking for MUHC is the club for you.
Not only are we a force to be reckoned with on the pitch, our social program is awed by every other hockey club in the state (and some international clubs as well!).
We have almost 100 years of practice to get it right and know how to party. Our social calendar involves events almost every week with major functions such as the all-conquering cocktail party, the not-to-be missed 12 Pubs of Christmas and to top it all off the awe-my-gawd Presentation Dinner at the end of the season.
MUHC extends an invitation to you to join us at one of the many social events or to watch us whip the opposition on a balmy Melbourne weekend.
The off-field support is a force to be reckoned with too. The MUHC committee, coaches, managers and officials are extremely professional people with a mix of youth and experience. A truly talented team of individuals completes the admin of the club and their commitment to success ensures that MUHC stays ahead of the rest.
