Missing Persons Advocacy Network

Missing Persons Advocacy Network

Every year, more than 38,000 Australians are reported missing, and research shows that at least 12 people are directly affected by each disappearance - half a million Australians annually. While most are found within a month, many remain missing long-term.

MPAN's objective is to give direction and hope to those directly affected by the disappearance of a loved one by creating awareness for missing Australians and providing practical support to those left behind.

Missing Persons Advocacy Network (MPAN) humanises and creates awareness for missing people, as well as providing practical support to their families and friends.

We have an online guide of what to do when someone disappears, and work to establish partnerships that increase visibility for the issue and lessen the financial impact on those left behind.

MPAN is a DGR-status charity providing practical support to families and friends of missing Australians.
