MPavilion |
From November 2024 to March 2025, MPavilion Season 11 will bring the pavilion and Queen Victoria Gardens to life.
Inspired by our unique site and design, we seek to create collective moments that meld art, design and architecture. We are an entry point for curious audiences and believe exceptional design doesn't need to be understood to be felt.
We are a proving ground for experimentation and a platform for new ideas. We invite artists, designers, makers and collaborators to interpret Tadao Ando's MPavilion inside and out in new ways and dream up extraordinary experiences that wouldn't happen otherwise.
Each year since 2014, the Naomi Milgrom Foundation has commissioned an outstanding architect to design a pavilion for the Queen Victoria Gardens, in the centre of Melbourne's Southbank Arts Precinct. The MPavilion then becomes the focus of a free program season of cultural events and interventions, lively talks, performances, workshops, installations and kid-friendly experiences.
MPavilion Season 11 will bring Tadao Ando's pavilion and Queen Victoria Gardens to life across summer 2024/2025.
