Melbourne Trivia

It's A Long Way To The Top.. Possums!

Melbourne's love affair with its laneways is displayed no better than in the naming of two well known laneways, ACDC Lane - renamed in memory of one of Australia's most successful musical exports, and Dame Edna Place which was crowded with interested lunchtime "possums"for the launch on March 08, 2007.

Among the many other names of Melbourne's laneways are the colourfully titled, Exploration Lane, and for the romantic at heart Melbourne also plays host to Romeo Alley and Juliet Alley.
