Melbourne Trivia

History in the Film-Making..

Although not exactly trivia, we recently discovered a wonderful video history tour of marvellous Melbourne on Youtube and thought it well worth the mention.

Running at close to 11 minutes, the film recounts Melbourne's history from her founding by John Batman through to the Olympic Games in 1956 and beyond.

Created by Shane and Chris Northey, the 'Marvellous Melbourne' History video is a tongue-in-cheek delight, produced in the nostalgic style of the News-Reels once shown in cinemas. Grab some popcorn and enjoy!
