The RAAF Museum is open on Thursdays and Sundays from 10 am to 3 pm.

Admission to the RAAF Museum is FREE, however, donations are gratefully accepted.

Note: photo identification is required for all visitors over the age of 16 to gain entry to the Base.

Bookings* are essential for all attendees.

Tours


The Museum provides guided tours for groups (clubs, schools, etc.) - Tuesday to Friday only. These give the visitor a unique insight into Australian aviation history, the Air Force and RAAF Base Point Cook. Guided tours are conducted by RAAF Museum trained volunteer host officers.

For further information or to book a guided tour, phone the RAAF Museum on (03) 8348 6300 or 8348 6040. Alternatively, you can fill out a group tour Booking Form.

Free parking is available across the road from the RAAF Museum. Bus parking is available on the southern side of the museum.

Toilets are available at the museum.

Wheelchair access is available to all parts of the RAAF Museum excluding the upper deck of the Restoration Hangar. Limited access to the lower deck of this area can be arranged for people with special needs. The museum will attempt to meet the special needs of your group - please Contact Us to discuss your requirements.

The Museum Shop is open during museum hours and stocks a wide range of memorabilia.

Melbourne to Point Cook/Werribee Transport

If you don't have your own transport to the museum but still want to visit, then we have some good news for you. You can now hop aboard the Werribee Park Shuttle, which departs Melbourne daily to Point Cook and Werribee, including the RAAF Museum. This service operates from Melbourne seven days a week and takes in the Werribee attractions, including the RAAF Museum, Point Cook Homestead and Coastal Park. Bookings are required - phone C&J Squires Mini Coaches on (03) 9748 5094.

Fly In to the Museum

You can arrange to fly in to the RAAF Museum by contacting the 21SQN Air Base Command Post via [email protected]. Airfield landing fees may be waived for legitimate visitors flying in to the Museum.
