Regional Rail Link |
The Regional Fast Rail Project is one of the most significant transport initiatives in Victoria's history. The Victorian Government's commitment to the project represents the biggest investment in the Bendigo, Latrobe Valley, Ballarat and Geelong regional rail lines in 120 years.
The Regional Fast Rail Project, part of the $5 billion Linking Victoria program, will provide regional and rural Victorians with a high standard rail system that increases reliability and passenger comfort, and will improve travel times through modern trains operating at speeds up to 160km/h.
The Regional Fast Rail Project will boost opportunities for economic growth in these important regional areas.
As part of the Victorian Government's commitment to deliver faster, more frequent, reliable and comfortable train services to country Victoria, Regional Rail Link - part of the John Holland Group - has been commissioned to upgrade the Latrobe Valley and Bendigo rail lines.
Regional Rail Link is part of the John Holland Group, Australia's most diverse construction company, with an unparalleled record of delivering state-of-the-art rail and other public infrastructure to governments and communities across Australia.
Regional Rail Link's strengths are impressive and include:
Design capabilities
Engineering and construction
Fully co-ordinated and transparent project management

Regional Rail Link was originally a joint venture between the John Holland Group and Transfield Construction. However, in January 2003, John Holland acquired its joint venture partner, seamlessly bringing together one of the most experienced teams of private sector designers, planners, engineers, project managers and technical experts in rail infrastructure in Australia today.
We are thoroughly committed to providing world-class rail infrastructure, and pledge to work closely with local communities, train users and other stakeholders.
