Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron is located in Pier Road, right at the end of Fitzroy Street, on St Kilda's beautiful foreshore.
We offer a range of sailing related activities such as yacht racing (ranging from social club races to highly competitive inter-club races), a cruising division (who arrange outings ranging from lunch outings to long-weekend cruises around the bay and further a field) and training programs including a junior sailing programme for school age children.
Social memberships are also available to those just wishing to take advantage of our bar and dining facilities overlooking the beautiful Port Phillip Bay.
The Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron , with a history of over 120 years, is one of the oldest yacht clubs in Victoria with a long list of historical firsts. Situated at St. Kilda in close proximity to Melbourne central business district, it is regarded as the centre of aquatic events in Victoria.
