Haydn was married when he fell for the London widow to whom he dedicated the set containing his "Gypsy" Trio. Shostakovich was sixteen when he met Tatyana and began his First Piano Trio. Ravel's ravishing Trio adds shimmering colours and sweeping passion.

David Griffiths hosts and joins the artists on clarinet for a little klezmer: an extra spark for Live at Yours' final Toorak concert of the year.
