Society is a multi faceted modern dining destination like no other.

It celebrates the magic of à la carte dining and is situated in the heart of Melbourne's fashionable Collins Street precinct where no two visits need ever be the same.

Located at 80 Collins Street Society includes our grand dining room the Lilian Terrace brassiere sweeping open terraces three private rooms and our signature lounge bar serving some of the city's most elegant curated cocktails.

Society Dining Room
The Society Dining Room is a statement of modern Australian design and sophisticated dining culture. Voluptuous booth seating creates an opulent yet relaxed supper-club feel grey black and navy tones merge with dark timber and velvet furnishings. The ceiling is alight with hand cut crystal installations while soaring windows capture one of this city's most spectacular settings amongst the iconic towers of Melbourne's glamorous Collins Street precinct.

Society's journey begins with its formidable cellar with over 10000 bottles which is the support act to the visually beautiful food. The art of à la carte is the centrepiece allowing diners to curate their own experience promising no two visits need ever be the same.

Lillian Terrace
The Lillian Terrace is a vibrant yet elegant bar and restaurant. The euro style menu offering an ever changing à la carte experience is available throughout the day 7 days a week. The restaurant is named after the legendary Collins Street denizen Lillian Wightman and overlooks her former couture salon Le Louvre. Soft timber walls fringed lamps and curvy banquettes set the tone of natural warmth and effortless charm.

The menu offers up a roll-call of inspired classics like oysters delicate salads and handmade pastas and of course a charcoal-grilled Chateaubriand with truffle sauce. And there's an ever-evolving by-the-slice tart selection. Champagne of course is available at all times and why not? As Lillian would say.

Lounge Bar
The Lounge Bar does not accept reservations and is open for walk in guests daily until late.

The Lounge Bar at Society is an elegant setting resplendent with sparkling mirrors inviting sofas and a swirling marble bar with a carved edifice which sits proudly at its entrance. The cocktails are a haven for martini-lovers with a menu featuring bespoke martinis that capture the mid-century glamour of a big city bar.

Favouring parity over ostentation the succinct cocktail list foregrounds recognisable classics and simple design championing Society's commitment to timelessness. Effortlessly mixing the finest spirits fruits tonics and bitters the lounge is a haven for elegance and style while celebrating the skills of our mixologists.

East and West
Society's two luxuriously appointed private dining rooms named East and West perch above the Society Dining Room and represent the pinnacle of destinational dining experiences. Our rooms are discreet and include dedicated direct lift access and their own Bar Privè for that special individual experience.

Open 7 days a week reservations are recommended and walk-ins are always welcome.
