The Steam Tug Wattle, Australia's only fully commissioned and locally built steam tug

Sorrento Steam was founded in 2007 to recreate a steam presence in Port Phillip Bay in which the ST Wattle played such a big part, and to bring attention to the fascinating history of places such as Sorrento, and Point Nepean and the South Channelk Fort.

Slip back 70 years to the old world charms of the Steam Tug Wattle.

FUNCTIONS

Up to 55 people can be accommodated on the ST Wattle with seating proved for all passengers. Canvas awnings fitted with roll-side curtains ensure total weather protection, although cruises into the bay are conducted strictly on calm waters only.

There is even room for a small band on the covered deck, and charters can be fully and professionally catered for, or BYO if that suits your relaxed party atmosphere.

A refurbishment to be complete by May 2008 is the latest chapter in a Grand Old lady Of The Sea, and this means that your function, celebration or event will be remembered for it's stylish old-world charm and unique glimpse of a refined past.
