A network of families that believes no child should go without the basic material needs - like a safe cot to sleep in.
We believe that by reusing and recycling much-loved babies' and children's gear, we not only share the joy of motherhood with each other, but we save the earth's precious resources too.
We are a volunteer-run not-for-profit organisation based in St Kilda, Melbourne. We collect donations of nursery equipment and recycle cots, prams, bassinets, clothes and other baby essentials, and make sure they meet safety requirements.
We support children and parents experiencing hardship in practical partnership with maternal & child health nurses and local social service agencies. We have been operating since February 2009. In April 2013 we established Geelong Mums, and in February 2014 Eureka Mums in Ballarat.
