Sunshine Art Spaces Sunshine Art Spaces

A shop-front studio and retail space in Sunshine. Available for artists to create and sell their work. Up to four artists can be accomodated in a communal, open plan studio area. Artists also have access to workshop and retail areas. Managed by Brimbank City Council as part of the Sunshine Art Spaces project.

Sunshine Art Spaces is about revitalising, stimulating and activating the arts and artists in the Sunshine Town Centre by:

Providing affordable spaces and training for artists to establish creative businesses
Generating employment opportunities for artists so that they can work within their local communities
Enlivening and generating activity, bringing more people into the Sunshine Town Centre and increasing economic activity
Raising the profile of the arts, demonstrating its value to the local community and
Occupying buildings that may otherwise have remained vacant, helping to minimise vandalism often associated with empty properties.

Studios are subject to availability. Apply for a studio space.

Sunshine Art Spaces is now open at 2 City Place, Sunshine, VIC, 3020.
