Sushi Boto |
Sushi Boto (Sushi Boat) is a Melbourne-first with fresh sushi delivered by boat (not train).
Japanese Inspired Food on Boat | Instead of the typical train track, your sushi favourites are delivered by boat - hence the Japanese-derived name Sushi Boto which literally translates to Sushi Boat.
Time Out says: Forget rails, here your sushi is delivered by boat
No one is denying that sushi train is a bit of a gimmick, but it's fun, and people like it. Not content with the rail-based food delivery system, the crew from White Mojo have decided to take your sushi experience to the high seas (or at least the low canals) by creating Sushi Boto, a boat-based delivery system.
Your ships, nigiri and sashimi are delivered by little boats running along a canal. While you're there you can also drink sake, and for the ravenous, sign up for a ten-step sushi degustation that gets saltier and more savoury with each dish. If you spend over $30 you also get a coin to put into the imported vending machines stocked with Chanel and Tom Ford lipsticks and dining vouchers
