Zac Efron and Jeremy Allen White head up this A24 sports biopic as members of the Von Erich family, a hugely successful but tragedy-tainted wrestling dynasty with a history going back to the 1960s.
Written and directed by Sean Durkin (Martha Marcy May Marlene), the film also stars Holt McCallany as patriarch Fritz, Lily James, Harris Dickinson, and Maura Tierney.
The Iron Claw, the incredible true story of the Von Erich Brothers, who shook up the world of professional wrestling in the early 1980s.
Starring Zac Efron, Harris Dickinson, Maxwell Jacob, and Jeremy Allen White, the film comes from the stables of A24, the independent production company that's been shaking up Hollywood with titles like Midsommar, Everything Everywhere All At Once, and The Whale.
The story tells of the brothers' traumatic upbringing and rise to the top as they overcame hardship and tragedy. If the trailer is anything to go by then we're in for one heck of a moviegoing experience. We can't wait!
The Iron Claw is in cinemas January 18.
