The Studio @ Flinders Gallery

In 2004 twelve potters and ceramic artists joined forces to open a gallery in Flinders.

The Studio @ Flinders aims to promote and raise public awareness of fine quality, contemporary wheel-thrown and hand-built ceramics. Each piece in the gallery is individually handcrafted, from small, delicate porcelain bowls to massive, gutsy wood-fired jars; functional mugs, bowls, plates, platters and casseroles for everyday use to non-functional, decorative art pieces.

The gallery also carries a range of quality Australian (in most cases locally) handcrafted jewellery, silk, slumped and blown glass, creative handcrafted textiles, woodwork, sculpural work in all different media. metal and wood. ceramic. visual art - watercolour, oil painting, acrylic and pastel, and textile wall art and photography.

The Studio @ Flinders has four major exhibitions a year. The Annual Melbourne Teapot Exhibition over the Easter season, and two themed exhibitions: one in June over the Queens Brithday weekend and the other in September.
The fourth exhibition in November is held for the partners and associates to showcase their creative arts.

The Studio is open on Wed Fri Sat and Sundays
